General Manager, Water, Australia
Ashok returned to the Australian business of MWH Global in 2013 to serve as General Manager of its water business. In this role, he has Profit & Loss accountability and is responsible for guiding the strategy and management of the firm’s operations in the water sector across Australia.
Before his return to Australia, Ashok was the Business Manager for MWH in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), a similar role with Profit & Loss responsibility for the company’s operations. Ashok has significant management experience on strategy implementation, marketing, human resources, financial, commercial and operational issues.
Prior to undertaking senior management roles, Ashok served as project manager and project director for MWH on various water and wastewater infrastructure projects in both Australia and the Middle East. He has experience in transaction advisory services for project financed delivery of large infrastructure projects as well as advising on procurement strategies to clients for asset creation and operational divisions.
Using his drive and energy, Ashok has proven capability to deliver complex projects and programs on time, to quality and budget using leading techniques whilst maintaining a strategic management approach. His strong analytical skills coupled with his well-developed interpersonal skills and results oriented attitude make him an asset to MWH.
